All Grimm's toys are made from sustainable alder, lime, maple and cherry timbers, hand finished with non-toxic and water based dyes, and treated with pure vegetable oil. Spiel & Holz toys use green electricity sources, and minimal packaging. Wood is an ideal material for children's toys, as bacteria cannot reproduce on wood. Most Grimm's products are grinded by hand -- which gives a more charming expression compared to machined products. All used dyes are water based and in accordance with EN-71, is harmless to your health and suitable for children toys.
